October 2011 Update

Soon to be released on DVD !!!! The third annual 2011 Street Car Cruise & Match Race hosted by 10” Wide Racing took place August 19th & 20th. Dozens street machines from 7 states did battle at one of the most unique street car events to be held this year. RPM Magazine, Lucas Oil and Mickey Thompson sponsored the event as part of their Extreme Event Series in 2011 and it was jus that…an EXTREME EVENT !!!

The big cruise to the legendary Gus’s Drive-In (East Troy,WI) cruise happened Friday August 19^th. The parking lot was filled with parachute packing 8, 7 and even some 6 second machines. Then Saturday August 20^thGreat Lakes Dragaway www.greatlakesdragway.com hosted the match race which that featured some of the closest heads up drag racing anywhere in the country.

The Shakedown at E’town has now taken its place as the quickest and fastest outlaw drag race in the world as evidenced by records being smashed in every category class.
